  1. I’ve heard people rave about the Nikon D850, but honestly, I think the Canon 5D Mark IV is more user-friendly, especially for those just starting out.

    • Owen H. Bennett July 15, 2026 at 11:28 am

I see your point, but I believe the Nikon offers more advanced features that can benefit serious photographers in the long run.

  2. HelpfulDriver397 July 4, 2026 at 3:02 pm

I've been using the Nikon D850 for landscape photography and it's fantastic! The detail is amazing, even when I enlarge the prints. The dynamic range really helps in challenging lighting conditions too. Highly recommend it!

  3. Don't forget to consider lens options! Both brands have a great selection, but there can be differences in price and performance.

  4. I'm new to DSLR cameras and was wondering which one is better for portrait photography—the Nikon D850 or the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV? Any suggestions?

    • Both are great, but I find the Canon 5D Mark IV's color science to be better for skin tones, especially in portraits.

  5. The article mentions a wide ISO range for both cameras. Can someone explain how that impacts low-light performance? I often shoot in dim conditions.
