      The COOLPIX W300 has a higher waterproof rating at 100 feet compared to the DMC-TS30's 26 feet, plus its image quality is enhanced with a 16-megapixel sensor versus the DMC-TS30's 16MP. Both are good, but the W300 is more rugged.
