  1. Can someone clarify how important the electronic viewfinder (EVF) is for street photography? I often shoot in bright sunlight and sometimes struggle with viewing the screen.

    • Avatar photo
      Carmen J. Moore July 29, 2026 at 9:31 pm

The EVF can be quite beneficial in bright conditions as it allows you to see the scene more clearly than an LCD screen. However, many photographers also prefer optical viewfinders for their immediacy and natural feel in street photography.

I recently got the Ricoh GR III for street photography, and I love how compact it is! It's perfect for discreet shooting.

  3. I appreciate how compact these cameras are! Makes it so much easier to travel without carrying heavy gear.

  4. I'm interested in the Leica M10-P, but is it really worth the price? How does its image quality compare to something like the Fujifilm X-Pro3?

  5. I disagree about the need for interchangeable lenses. I think a good compact camera with a fixed lens can perform just as well for most situations, especially if you're looking for simplicity.
