Feels sturdy and mounts easy, but the diameter is a bit off.
I have fitted it on 34mm tube on my bike and this holder scratched my tube with edges as the round part is made for maybe 30mm pipe so it does not fit flush, but instead sits on the tube with corners cutting into the tube.
I will use it still, but I am displeased that it scratched my bike…

Will update my review after driving to let you know on shaking part.

I bought the aluminum mount after the plastic mount I had broke when the bike fell over. The metal version slipped on my handlebars stem and would not stay in place, and the camera mount kept drooping no matter how hard I tightened it. I got a cheaper plastic mount which solved the problems.

The mount works great, I primarily use it for mountain biking, so far a couple of hundred miles. Very well made, I set it and still perfect. The only tiny complain(concern), and I’m guessing this only happens when you mountain bike is that you can feel(hear) a vibration during the recordings. I guessed it came from the mount, because is spring loaded so it can be rotated. I added a piece of rubber around the seam and it went away.

When the gopro is attached and tightened, the camera is not held in place. It’s not going to fall off or anything, but there’s no way to get it to stop moving so the camera just flops forward or backward when riding. Stupid.

The clamp still won’t keep the gopro from moving, but I was too late to send it back when I tried it out. The company reached out and has given me a refund. It was above and beyond what I could have expected.

This serves its purpose. Holds the camera nicely… it swivels left/right-it clicks in place so if you want it inbetween clicks to better center it then that’s not an option.. so with the way my handlebars are then it’s either slightly off to the center right or center left. The people that are saying it doesn’t hold the camera up and falls down… that’s probably because they have the screw in the wrong way- the screw goes in towards the flat side and exits towards the nipple side-see pic. This thing is also a huge pain to screw on-takes like 10 min with a dinky little Allen wrench- so If you want to constantly move the mount to different bikes then It sucks. We just ended up getting two and that solved that issue. Otherwise it’s a fine mount and does the job for a good price.

This is the second one of these I have bought (no problems with the original, just needed another one for a different bike). The mount is excellent quality and fits well onto my road bike handlebars. My only issue when I bought the previous mount was that it was difficult to tighten up the GoPro bracket enough by hand so that the camera didn’t come loose and slide forward/backwards slightly over bumps etc. This time the mount came with a handy bracket tightening tool/spanner (see photo) which makes it easy to tighten the bracket just a bit more than you can by hand. It holds the camera solid as a rock now so would definitely recommend.

Excellent value for ~$15. The entire mount is aluminum. There is a foam pad around the mount rings so it won’t damage the frame on your bike. The top of it swivels around but moves in notches and locks through each point of rotation. Includes tools for installation. Place the semi circular rings on the bike frame and screw them together. Also includes camera screw rod. There is also a washer on the camera screw rod to prevent it from scratching the edge of the mount.

Really good piece of kit. Does exactly as intended.

I found I couldn’t get it as tight as I liked with just my hands but some pliers did the trick – absolutely no movement whatsoever on the gopro during bumpy rides. If you don’t have pliers, a wet cloth around it should give you a bit more grip to turn it a bit more.

The 360 turning works a treat too and no issues with it accidentally turning during a ride, nor it being too difficult to rotate whilst cycling too.

Ironically, it’s the 360 feature that makes this garbage. Using on a MTB looking forward, always. So I took it apart and modified it. Shorter bolt and no spring. No more rotation and more importantly no more slop. Also, clamp is too small for the largest diameter of my bars near stem but just small enough near grip, but bolts are way too long.
Bought to upgrade a cheap plastic one but that one actually worked better than this before modification.

Needed something to replace the original plastic mount that snapped, and this was the ideal one…
Made of aluminium and fully adjustable to the size I needed as well as twistable through 360*
Also compatible with the plastic mount accessories I already have…

Only downside is there isn’t a rubber gasket to grip the area I wanted to, but I just used the one I had…

Great item, and worth the price paid…

This definitely helped me out on mounting my GoPro. So versatile and yet so sturdy. It swivels smoothly but yet stiff. So it won’t involuntarily shift. I love the build all aluminum and how the threads are engraved into the product.

Only addition I did was I bought a grommet as my bar was skinnier than I thought. Cut it and placed it above and below the clamps so as I tightened, it secured more properly.

    Don’t sleep on this one

As tight as I could get the screw/knob, it would not hold the camera upright for more than a few minutes before it rotated down, either forward or backward. Also, at this tightness which was not sufficient, I could not untighten the knob by hand.

This camera mount is in my humble opinion the best on the market. I’d just bought the Fly12 front bicycle camera and fitted it with its mount and no sooner had I turned off the road onto the gravel surface it broke and the expensive camera fell free. Luckily I had the camera on a retaining line.
So I looked on Amazon for a replacement and came across this product.
The product arrived and is easily mounted and more importantly you can apply a lot of torque to secure it as tight as possible.
The camera has not moved one micro millimetre. I’m so happy with this product and recommend you waste no more time looking for a better mount as you won’t in my opinion.
At £20 it’s the best investment I’ve made to accompany the Fly12 camera.
    Happy days.
