Great product with all the technology I need as an amateur level photographer

After reviewing many products on the market you will determine that yes you will pay more but get better quality in the end So I was very disappointed in the level of quality on the images using this model . The product has some great features including the ability to use your mobile phone app to take the hard to get selfies. The stability of video’s and pictures is great and no blurry or glitching however the quality level of the lighting on the photos’ was poor and hazy . I had purchased this for a business need as well as personal for my European trip and even after playing with the settings could not get the quality of lighting to be better. I used my I phone to get better images I needed and will look to return this. Maybe the newer models have better quality photos

A very expensive mistake. You see GOPro (or very similiar camera) in use on lots of vidoes and TV shows. But I have found it to be a huge purchase error.

Battery life – getting around 45 minutes. Bought some extra batteries (more money).
Move photos and videos to computer – very slow. No support for Linux and for some reason transfer speeds on Ubuntu as a standard USB are so slow as to be useless.
Subscriptions – they want more money from you even after you pay a hefty price. For storage – price not too far out of line for cloud storage. But a subscription to use the software was a hidden surprise.
Voice commands – don’t bother if you cant look at the camera to confirm it followed your orders. (on your helmet – I found 25% of the time was the best I could expect it to hear me and follow command while riding my bicycle.)
Works with IPhone – that piece is pretty good. I have mounted my phone on the bicycle handle bars and have decent control over the helmet mounted camera.
Gave it 4 stars on water resistence – only because no real test – a few rain showers but my fear of lighting keeps me out of the rain 🙂

Summary – maybe one of the best available IF you can swallow the price and all the issues I have described.
Probably need a few more generations of improvements to get vibration free video while riding a bicycle. Pretty decent when mounted on my car dash.
Temperature resistance – it pretty much dies on a hot summer day when mounted on dash in parking position. Keep it out of the sun if using for short term theft monitoring.

Well I bought this going from a 4 to a 6. And went to get a mic and found out I have to buy a 50 dollar mic adapter. And then another special case to hold the adapter. So kinda aggravating. Sound quality on the build in mic is not to bad when your in a quiet area and talking into the camera. But walk 6 foot away and it gets quite so I had to go down the rabbit hole of buying all this other crap.
