Pros

The Go Pro Handler is comfortable in the hand. Its soft material won’t slip, even when wet, for a secure grip. The handle floats upright and has an orange bottom, so it’s hard to lose in the water. The adjustable wrist strap keeps it tethered to your arm and prevents the item from floating away if you release your grip. It’s lightweight, sturdy and affordable, and works with any GoPro camera. The camera in the image above is the GoPro Hero 4 Silver however this device will work with any model. It looks nice, easily supports the camera’s weight, and is a practical way to ensure that it won’t sink. Since the camera floats upside-down, it works great for underwater pictures.

The Tool, a thumb screw, can be used to tighten the camera to the mount, making it secure. The bottle-opener is a bonus.

Cons

The handle doesn’t extend; it’s only one length (9.5”). Since it’s designed for water use, there are no threads in the bottom to accept a tripod. The foam grip cover tends to hold water and takes some time to dry out, so if you’re in a hurry, you may be putting it away damp. The Handler contains some plastic parts which may be prone to breakage if the user is not careful. In addition, the core is hard plastic, so it amplifies underwater noise, giving the videos a loud hum. If you happen to move your hand on the grip while operating the camera, you may get a fuzzy noise.
