  1. How does the Nikon D850 compare with the Canon EOS R in terms of video quality?

    • Avatar photo
      Carmen J. Moore August 14, 2026 at 4:52 pm

Both the Nikon D850 and Canon EOS R offer excellent video quality, but the D850 supports 4K at 30 frames per second and has a slightly higher resolution. The EOS R also records 4K but with a crop factor, which might affect wide-angle shots.

  2. I’m considering both the Nikon D850 and the Canon EOS R. I've heard great things about the D850's low-light performance, but I like the design of the EOS R. Can anyone share their experiences with these two cameras?

    • I’ve used the D850 for a while and it’s fantastic in low-light without much noise. The resolution is incredible too! But the EOS R is lighter and great for video, so it depends on what you prioritize.

    • Both are excellent choices! The Nikon D850 does excel in still photography with its resolution, while the Canon EOS R offers good video functionality.

  3. Priya Z. Murphy August 18, 2026 at 1:42 pm

I love the manual control feature on my DSLR-style camera—it's so freeing to adjust settings myself!

  4. I don't think the megapixel count is that important. My old camera had lower megapixels but still took great photos. It’s more about the lens and lighting conditions!
